Description Organic Chamomile Roman   Anthemis nobilis Relaxing This small perennial herb is native to Europe, Asia and North Africa. The essential oil is extracted by steam distillation from the flowers and has a warm, sweet, herbaceous aroma.  Chamomile Roman is suitable for children, especially for hyperactivity, and tantrums.  It can be used in a cream to soothe sore nipples in nursing mothers.  It can be effective for ‘life changes’ such as the menopause and also PMT, PMS and menstrual irregularity.  It is very soothing for all types of skin problems and is reputed to have cellular regenerating properties.  Because of it’s anti-inflammatory and analgesic actions it is a favourite for helping to alleviate the symptoms of arthritis.
