Description Acute or chronic infections such as colds, flu and upper respiratory tract infections are a common occurrence. Echinacea, taken internally, can be very beneficial as it reduces the severity of symptoms and the duration of infections. Echinacea works by improving the efficiency with which the immune system identifies infectious particles and then kills them. Echinacea may be taken at the onset of an infection to reduce the time taken to fight it off, and limit the severity of the symptoms experienced. It may also be taken daily over a long term period, to increase the body's resistance to infections and thus reduce the likelihood of falling ill. Directions for use: Children 2-5 years: 1 tablet twice daily Maintenance: 1 tablet daily. Children 6-12 years: 2 tablets twice daily. Maintenance: 2 tablets daily. This product is not recommended for children under 2 years of age Ingredients: Extract of organically grown fresh Echinacea purpurea (Purple Coneflower) herb and root. Also contains cane sugar, microcrystalline cellulose, pregelatinised potato starch, magnesium stearate (vegetable source), natural orange flavouring and hydroxypropyl methylcellulose. One 250mg tablet contains the concentrated extract of Echinacea purpurea equivalent to 250mg Echinaforce tincture.This product is free from synthetic preservatives, flavouring and colouring.
