Black Elderberry
The Black Elderberry (Sambucus nigra) has been used for centuries for its ability to fight infections such as the common cold and 'flu. It has a long history of use throughout the ages but it's remarkable properties were 'rediscovered' by more recent research. It was Dr. Jean Lindemann, the developer of interferon, who first suggested to virologist Dr. Madeleine Mumcuoglu that she research the Black Elderberry.
