Description Organic Eucalyptus   Eucalyptus globulus Refreshing and Uplifting A tall, evergreen tree native to Australia but cultivated in America, China and Europe.  The essential oil is extracted by steam distillation mainly from the leaves.  It has a distinctive, strong, camphorous aroma, which is very penetrating.  Eucalyptus is widely used as an inhalant and is a strong antiseptic.  It is an expectorant and decongestant and useful for respiratory problems such as colds, ‘flu and catarrh.  It has a cooling action on muscular aches and pains.   If you have never used Essential Oils before, or want to know more about using them, please check out our Guide to using Essential oils
