Description 5-HTP, short for 5-hydroxytryptophan, is a derivative of the amino acid tryptophan, and is converted in the brain, into the neurotransmitter serotonin which influences everything from appetite, to mood, to sleep. We are delighted to introduce 5-HTP to the Lamberts® range and use a natural source, extracted from the seeds of Griffonia simplicifolia. Each tablet provides a full 100mg of 5-HTP and with so many practitioners recommending this nutrient, we think you will find our 5-HTP an invaluable product for your practice. Typically per tablet: L-5-Hydroxytrytophan 100mg(natural extract from the seeds of Griffonia simplicifolia) Suitable for vegetarians. Suggested daily intake: up to 3 tablets daily, half an hour before meals or half an hour before bedtime or as directed by a practitioner or pharmacist.
