Description Starflower (borage) seeds have the highest GLA level of any plant, including evening primrose. Lamberts® Pure Starflower Oil 1000mg capsules contain a guaranteed level of 220mg GLA per capsule, making this product one of the strongest available. The advantage of this is that only one capsule per day needs to be taken which means it is an excellent alternative for those currently taking a lot of evening primrose oil because you need much less of it to obtain the same level of GLA. Typically per capsule: Starflower Oil 1000mg of which staturates 4mg Monounsaturates 250mg Polyunsaturates 635mg of which Gamma-linolenic Acid (GLA) 220mg Suggested daily intake: 1 capsule daily with a meal.
