New BioLife Lignans Plus with omega-3, limonene and vitamin D
BioLife Lignans Plus is a food supplement providing a rich source of dietary Lignans from linseed (flaxseed) with limonene and Vitamin D Plus Omega 3 Fish Oil from sardine and anchovy.
Lignans are widely distributed in plant material and form a normal part of our everyday diet, but Linseed (Flax) is by far the best known source of Lignans, providing about 100 times more than any other plant material. The primary Lignan found in linseed is SDG (seco-isolariciresinol diglucoside) Lignans are considered to be phytoestrogens whose nutritional role has become increasingly recognised and supported by scientific literature. Each capsule of BioLife Lignan plus provides as much SDG as around 2 tablespoons of whole linseeds. However, unless linseeds are ground or milled only a small proportion of their Lignans can be digested. Lignans are insoluble aspects within the husk and therefore linseed oil does not contain Lignans.
Lignans and essential fatty acids can help maintain the integrity of the skin and the normal regeneration of healthy dermal cells.
