Aromatherapy with pure essential oils has been used for thousands of years, the ancient Egyptians and Greeks used them as an integral part of their lives and there is much anecdotal evidence of the benefits of using pure and natural essential oils.  The essential oils are extracted from the seeds, petals, leaves, twigs or fruits of plants and each oil has different qualities which can enhance well-being and health. Through our sense of smell they have access to our brains and therefore effect the way we feel - our emotions.

Aromatherapy massage with essential oils blended with carrier oils or an aqueous based cream, introduces them into our system to help harmonise and balance the mind and body.  A few drops in your bath water will help relax or invigorate - depending on your choice of oil

Another great way to enjoy pure essentials oils in the home or office, to help relax or uplift or to 'clear the head' and help control   airborne germs and insects, is by adding a few drops of essential oil to an Essence Burner.  Sprinkle them onto pebbles or pot pourri

Essential oils are lipid based and have a natural affinity with the skin.  They pass deeply through the tissues and actually reach our blood stream. Therefore its important to use only pure and natural essential oils, ideally these oils should be extracted from organically grown plants.
