Description Organic Patchouli   Pogostemon cablin Relaxing An herb, native to Asia where it is extensively cultivated, the essential oil is extracted by steam distillation of the dried leaves.  It has a rich, earthy, musky aroma and blends well with Lavender, Bergamot, Geranium, Rose, Neroli, Myrrh, Sandalwood, Clary Sage. A light or dark Patchouli can be obtained, the dark being more ‘pungent’ and richer. It is a tonic for the nerves.It is important in skin care and helps to promote new skin growth. This essential oil was a favourite with the ‘hippies’ of the 1960’s who used it as a perfume and in essence burners.
