BioLife Acidophilus Complex probiotic contains 9 billion viable cells of Lactobacillus acidophilus and Bifidobacterium bifidum per capsule. L.acidophilus and B.bifidum are viable, beneficial intestinal bacteria that naturally exist together in the gastrointestinal tract. These organisms have been shown to colonise the human intestinal tract and help maintain the health of the digestive system.

L.acidophilus - helps reduce the proliferation of yeast organisms.
L.acidophilus - helps reduce the colonisation of unfriendly bacteria.
Bifidobacterium - helps to reduce colonisation of opportunistic bacteria

Micro-encapsulation of the individual organisms means that we are able to combine L.acidophilus and B.bifidum in the same capsule without any competitive antagonism, both bacteria will remain perfectly compatible.
Contains Fructooligosaccharide (FOS) which is a prebiotic.
