While the liver is responsible for the storage and release of blood sugar it also has an important role in the breakdown of unwanted fats and other waste products that may be consumed through food and drink. Taracyn provides the body with a combination of nutrients that work together to help to encourage normal liver function. The formula is subtle, not adding any high potency, isolated nutrients, and Taracyn doesn’t contain any medicinal herbs. But part of the beauty of the product is in its simplicity; the liver is a sensitive instrument, not accustomed to being overwhelmed or ‘purged’ by highly concentrated medicinal substances. Taracyn is feeding the liver with the materials that allow it to function at its best. Choline, L-Methionine, L-Glysine, Riboflavin and Molybedenum are all required by the liver and need to be isolated through the diet for a number of functions in the liver, particularly in the metabolism of fats. Taracyn has been formulated to contain all these nutrients at levels complimentary to their absorbtion into the liver. Taracyn also contains a ‘friendly bacteria’ called Lactobacillus plantarum, this is a transient organism which moves through the digestive system and prevents the uptake of dietary lipids, when these lipids are absorbed they have a negative impact and can lead to a fatty liver. So this friendly bacteria is quite simply making the job of the liver a little easier by giving it less to do. The nutrients contained in Taracyn are in a food base of dandelion root, artichoke leaves and turmeric; these three foods are well known for being good for healthy liver function. While Dandelion and artichoke have a gentle cleansing action, contracting the gall bladder which helps the liver to produce more bile, turmeric has an excellent toning action on the liver and aids the absorption of useful fats like Choline.
