Description Organic Ylang Ylang 1  Cananga odorata Relaxing A tropical flowering tree, native to Asia, the oil and flowers are widely used by the native population.  The essential oil is extracted by steam distillation from the flowers and has an extremely sweet, soft, floral aroma. It blends well with Jasmine, Rose. Bergamot and other essential oils. It is used to soothe and calm anger and frustration and is purported to be an aphrodisiac and in Indonesia the flowers are used in the rooms of newly married couples for their wedding night. It is also useful for skin and hair care. There are several qualities of Ylang Ylang with Ylang Ylang 1 regarded as the best quality.
