Milk Thistle Complex combines popular herb milk thistle in a potent 38:1 extract, meaning that 100mg of extract provides the equivalent of 3800mg milk thistle seeds. Milk thistle is a popular natural herb with a long history of use and an excellent safety profile. This is combined with artichoke extract, another species of thistle, which is used to support digestion and intestinal health. Artichoke is rich in flavonoids such as luteolin and apigenin, and helps to positively influence lipid (fat) levels within the blood whilst supporting normal liver function.

Finally, these two herbs are combined with choline, a water-soluble nutrient often thought of as a B-vitamin, which supports the normal metabolism, or breakdown, of fats. It helps to maintain normal liver function, by helping to prevent a build up of fats in the liver, instead transporting broken down fats around the body for other uses..
